Clemson Concerns
Clemson has been in the spotlight early on in the season and they are in it for all the wrong
reasons right now. After losing week 1 to LSU in a close game, they follow it up with a narrow
win over Troy, which is a team many expect them to blow out of the water. With a matchup
against a solid Georgia Tech team in week 3, they will need to get things rolling quick or we
could see them dropping their second game of the season already.
Top Heavy Conferences
Now, Clemson is not the only the only team in the power 4 conferences. The ACC, SEC, Big
Ten and Big 12 all seem to be pretty imbalanced early on. Now, it is early on and teams always
play hard within their conference, but I think you can look at each conference and early on can
tell who the potential conference champions will be this year.
Group of 5 on the Rise
Our group of 5 conferences saw some big wins this past weekend. Last week I felt like both
USF and UNLV picked up big wins against some bigger schools. USF continues to knock off
ranked opponents and the Florida Gators were the team to be knocked off this past week. If
the can go in and manage to win against Miami everybody we might just see the craziest run
ever by an underdog team. UNLV picked up a win against UCLA and despite the score, they
really dominated that game. While they may not be as big for everyone as USF is. This is one of
those teams that could really make a run if they keep the momentum going.
Week 3
Next week is already going to be a pivotal week for a lot of teams early on in the season for
certain teams. Florida has to rebound by going up against 3 LSU. 8 Notre Dame is trying to
avoid their 2nd loss of the seas as the face off against 16 Texas A&M. There is the big matchup
between 15 Tennessee and 6 Georgia. We will also see if 12 Clemson can get things rolling
against Georgia Tech. It is going to be action packed as we watch which teams are going to
rise up to the challenge this week
