It’s time for another round of quarterback rankings you absolutely didn’t ask for — and today we’re heading to the NFC East. This division has everything: young stars, seasoned vets, playoff heartbreaks, and one quarterback room that could see a major mid-season shake-up.
4. Russell Wilson – New York Giants
Yes, I believe Russell Wilson will be the Giants’ Week 1 starter. No, I don’t think he’ll finish the year holding that job. Wilson is well past his prime and hasn’t been a reliable option in several seasons. The flashes of “Let Russ Cook” are fewer and farther between, and it feels like New York is already preparing for a switch. My guess? Jaxson Dart will eventually get thrown into the fire this season to see if he’s the future.
3. Dak Prescott – Dallas Cowboys
In the regular season, Dak Prescott can be one of the better quarterbacks in the league. The problem is that every January, the Cowboys seem to run into the same wall — and Dak’s performance takes a hit when it matters most. On top of that, he’s coming off an injury from last year, so all eyes will be on how he bounces back in 2025. If he can stay healthy and find consistency late in the year, the Cowboys’ ceiling gets a lot higher.
2. Jayden Daniels – Washington Commanders
Jayden Daniels lit up the league as a rookie and hasn’t looked back since. His dual-threat ability keeps defenses guessing, and Dan Quinn’s system has been built to play to his strengths. The question isn’t whether Daniels can succeed — it’s whether defenses can catch up to him. If he continues his upward trajectory, Washington could be in the playoff mix again.
1. Jalen Hurts – Philadelphia Eagles
A Super Bowl champion and one of the most well-rounded quarterbacks in football, Jalen Hurts tops this list. Yes, he has a loaded offense around him, but Hurts’ impact goes far beyond just the weapons. He brings elite pocket presence, dangerous running ability, and excellent pre-snap reads that keep the Eagles’ offense one step ahead. In a division full of intriguing QB situations, Hurts remains the standard.
